Simon Brocklebank-Fowler founded Cubitt Consulting in 1998 and leads many of the firm's key accounts, which include a quarter of the FTSE100 over the last decade, and a range of growth companies and elite tier service firms.
A former diplomat and investment banker, he served as head of the investor relations practice of Shandwick, then the world’s leading communications consultancy, from 1992-1994. From 1994 - 1998, he was a divisional then group chief executive of Citigate.
Simon has led some of the most high profile financial and corporate communications campaigns in Europe of the last decade, particularly working at CEO or practice leader level, with his unsurpassed network in the media and other stakeholder audiences.
He was educated at Cambridge University, and is a Fellow and past Vice Chairman of the UK Investor Relations Society. He also served for four years as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Corporate and Financial Group of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. He is an Honorary Visiting Fellow of Cass Business School, Chairman of the SME Forum of British American Business and Trustee of Policy Exchange, the leading charitable think tank. He advises a range of other charities pro bono on marketing and fundraising, and is a frequent guest speaker on entrepreneurship and communications.
